This role requires a global leader with deep experience in Banking and Capital Markets and understanding Financial Crime Compliance with an intersection of Data and Advance Analytics. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for managing global delivery & driving growth in Financial Crime (AML, Fraud, and dispute operations) for Banks & Financial Institutions. Responsibilities
· Focus on driving surprise free Global Operations and drive revenue growth, profitability, delivery excellence, customer satisfaction with existing and new banking clients in Financial Crime space
· P&L Owner of the Business & operate the Business as per Operating Plans
· Client Management CXO level: Grow client relationships in collaboration with the client sales team led by the Lead Client Partner, Practice teams.
· Establish strategic relationship with key client stakeholders, Genpact stakeholders
· Work in conjunction with Practice to evangelize scalable solutions/strategies in the Financial Crimes domain & strengthen the value proposition
· Global leader with ability to hire and manage global talent
· Strengthening the local delivery centers in North America, Europe, and Australia
· Requires partnering with industry recognized institutes to drive university and Industry wide talent build and certification
· Provide thought leadership and dependable execution on diverse projects
· Contribute to Digital build assets
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
· Proven track record of running and setting up large scale " Financial Crime (AML, KYC Fraud, and dispute operations) operations of 5000+ people globally
· Strong current knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations, international sanctions programs, industry trends and challenges, and regulatory developments in major economies, along with familiarity with regional regulations.
· Demonstrating PRIDE (Personal Responsibility in Delivering Excellence) in everything
· Implementation experience of rpa/ digital in financial crime operations preferred
· Would be required to demonstrate logical thinking, good numeric abilities, domain understanding, technology affinity and project/program execution
· Ability to foresee risks, be proactive and predictive while developing risk mitigation plans
· Demonstrate domain as well as technical understanding of the principles of Regulatory Compliance. This includes extensive and in-depth knowledge of regulations which impact Financial Institutions in areas relating to Financial Crimes
· Good client management skills to build trust-based relationships (handling structured and unstructured conversations, ability to understand client’s cultural nuances and flexing Genpact content accordingly, maneuver between setting realistic client expectations – better than the competition)
· Ability to work in a matrix reporting relationship and global environment, with strong enough communication skills to influence multiple internal stakeholders
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams comprised of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Consulting experience - demonstrated ability to convey value proposition, differentiators in a compelling manner to win new relationships/opportunities
Transformation experience – demonstrated ability to design and execute operational transformation. Experience of running day to day operations would be an added advantage
