Job Overview
The Compliance Operations Analyst will perform KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), On-Going Due Diligence (ODD) and Transaction screening on customers of BHFS .
The Compliance Operations Analyst will be part of a high-performing team of AML/KYC practitioners that will be responsible for mitigating AML risks and driving operational excellence to support the BHFS and Booking Holdings mission.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Due Diligence checks under the guidance of Compliance Operations Analyst.
- Conducting KYC (Know Your Customer) EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) procedures, verifying customer information, and ensuring compliance with onboarding requirements.
- Undertaking guided investigations on Partners using internal, online and vendor tools.
- Review, investigate and escalate as appropriate any alerts/issues raised
- Periodical review of KYC/AML records as to completeness, including verifying that due diligence has been performed and risk assessments are current and up to date.
- Investigating and reporting high-risk clients, including Politically Exposed Persons, collecting all the necessary documentation to complete the client profile.
- Summarize & analyze in writing, clear and concise findings of alerts/issues. Escalate results through the appropriate channels where applicable.
- Escalate potential risks/red flags to senior management from time to time.
Qualifications
Level of knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or accounting preferred
- At least 1+ years' experience in AML compliance/AML/KYC Operations, preferably at a large financial institution with a European customer base, experience in payments an advantage
