Alacer Systems and Technology is looking for Business Analyst- Financial Crime Compliance to join its offshore center in Bangalore, KA India.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the definition of requirements, including the creation and maintenance of Business Requirements, Detailed Specification documents and subsequent traceability to their corresponding Business Requirements
- Create and execute project work plans, incorporating people, process, and technology change across the Group
- Revision, as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements; identify resources required to deliver project and assign individual responsibilities; manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and produce financial forecasts/estimates
- Ability to determine red flags and judge the need for issue
- Able to meet timelines and turn around completed cases to meet service level agreements without compromising on quality
- Ability to work independently and deliver against commitments
- Ability to work in an evolving digital environment
- Should have good knowledge & understanding on AML and KYC
- Ensure that the project is delivered within the financial requirements of the project sponsor
Requirements:
- Detailed Specification documentation skill, with a proven track record of successful project implementation, from initiation to completion
- Experience of the whole project life cycle and the ability to operate in the initial conceptual design phase, in the depths of testing phases and all other stages
- Banking experience in the regulatory space which includes demonstrable experience working with technology, as the candidate must be comfortable discussing issues and challenging requirements within a technology team. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and must be able to interface with Director/Vice president level project sponsors and stakeholders
- Experience implementing AML Transaction Monitoring Tools, ie Actimize, Oracle FCCM, Verafin etc
- The candidate should be familiar with AML and Transaction Monitoring typologies to ensure that relevant AML associated risks relevant to the bank are captured and addressed
- A methodical and diligent approach, with good attention to detail. Experience in managing delivery of regulatory projects, incorporating IT change is a must. Understanding of technical business analysis is also a requirement, as the role will involve performing detailed analysis activities, in addition to the Project Management responsibilities
- Previous exposure to governance, control, and risk management
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in Agile methodology and a deep understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle; preferably in Business Analyst
- Should be familiar creating user / process workflows using tools like Visio
- Must be proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technology/development
- Experience in developing and maintaining an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation by the team
- Proven collaborative abilities with Application Managers/ Platform Owners and Development
- Leads to convert Business and Technical Enablement/ Tech Debt/ Automation Backlog/ Sonar
- Prior work with business and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles
- Ability to create and manage project plans in MS Project or similar software
- Ability to create and present executive level dashboards and status reports to Senior Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
