About the Role
This is a mid-senior Business Analyst position supporting complex change initiatives across financial crime, fraud, transaction monitoring and wider regulatory projects. You’ll work closely with senior project managers and the BA Team Lead to deliver high‑quality analysis, documentation and process design within a well‑structured, collaborative PMO environment.
The role is suited to someone who is confident operating autonomously, brings strong domain knowledge, and can work calmly and professionally within a high‑standards environment.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out business analysis across fraud, external fraud, AML, cash and transaction monitoring workstreams.

Produce clear, accurate and structured documentation including BRDs, process flows, gap analysis and requirements packs.

Map and redesign processes (AS‑IS and TO‑BE), ensuring dependencies, risks and impacts are fully understood and communicated.

Support financial crime transformation activity, including transaction monitoring enhancements and fraud-related initiatives.

Collaborate closely with PMs, junior BAs, Compliance, Financial Crime, Operations and Technology teams.

Contribute to project governance, ensuring traceability, documentation quality and audit-readiness.

Assist with stakeholder discussions, workshops and presentations in a clear and concise manner.

Work in alignment with established PMO standards and templates, contributing to improvements where required.

Provide structured analysis and insight to support decision‑making across multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential
-
Strong financial services domain knowledge, specifically in:
-
Transaction Monitoring
-
Fraud (including external fraud and cash/account flows)
-
AML
-
Proven experience delivering change within regulated environments.

Ability to produce high‑quality BRDs, workflows, and process documentation with minimal direction.

Experience working within structured project environments (PMO, change teams, transformation programmes).

Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and professionally to varied stakeholders.

Strong organisational skills with a calm, steady and detail‑driven approach.

Comfortable working independently and supporting multiple workstreams.
Desirable
-
Exposure to financial crime systems such as Actimize or SAM10.

Experience within trade finance, capital markets, transactional banking or investment banking environments.

Familiarity with regulatory change programmes impacting fraud and AML.

Experience collaborating across regional or cross‑functional teams.
