What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role

Prepare management information reports related to fraud / ML for senior management’s oversight
-
Contact point between the Bank and LEA
-
Investigating the alerts generated by fraud detection and AML transaction monitoring systems and external intelligence from outsider and financial crime risk related matter raised by the business, filling STR to JFIU where necessary
-
Perform data analysis and prepare intelligence/crime trend analysis report for management’s review
-
Monitor and analysis the performance of fraud monitoring rules for improvement
-
Prepare and submit clear, concise, factual, unbiased, thorough and timely investigation reports
-
Work closely with relevant business and function units and act as a Subject Matter Expert in fraud / ML
-
Assist in implementing the Bank policy and procedure with respect to ensuring effective review of TM alerts and fraud investigations

Handle ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned

Regular travel to China might be required
What Is Required And What We’re Looking For
-
Degree holder preferably in Finance, Law, Accounting, Information Technology or business-related disciplines
-
4 years’ or above experience in fraud and/or financial crime investigations, preferable with fraud investigation experience from banks
-
With knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and guidelines
-
Exposure in project experience/ technical support in implementing financial crime monitoring or investigation system and digital forensic tools is preferable
-
Professional training and qualifications in investigations techniques
-
Independent, good team player, analytical mind with sound communication and interpersonal skills
-
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable
-
Holder of AAMLP or CAMS would be an advantage
