‍What will you do?

As a Compliance Specialist at Rakuten Symphony India, your role will involve providing comprehensive compliance support to Rakuten Symphony Group companies. This will require close collaboration with the Global Governance, Risk & Compliance Department (GRCD) and various cross-functional teams. This position will report to the Global Compliance Manager.

‍Roles And Responsibilities

• Drive the communication of both local and global compliance awareness activities, including trainings and onboarding sessions.
• Analyse and provide advice on various policy- related operations under the purview of GRCD (Anti-Bribery, Conflict of Interest, Outside Employment)
• Developing strategies and workplans to investigate alleged violations of policies and Code of Conduct.
• Perform internal consultations and provide compliance guidance to functional stakeholders.
• Facilitate ad-hoc compliance operations such as third-party due diligence, monitoring activities and cross-functional audits.
• Effectively organize, manage, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Job Requirement

‍Qualifications

• Degree in Law or equivalent working experience (Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified lawyers in India.)
• 8+ years of experience in compliance, investigations, legal, and/or forensic accounting/auditing field
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

• Knowledge and experience in a multinational company or in a mobile / telecommunications industry
• Strong ethical compass, sound and practical business judgement and intellectual creativity
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in handling local regulatory and legal matters on Indian employment law and Indian labour law
