My client, a global law firm, is actively recruiting for a Legal Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new Risk & Compliance Officer.
The Risk & Compliance department for the firm is led by the London based Risk & Compliance Partner and currently includes the; Risk Legal Team, Business Acceptance Team, Conflicts Team, Compliance Systems.
As the successful Risk & Compliance Officer, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Assisting in on-boarding new clients and matters
- Conducting client due diligence
- Reviewing KYC documentation
- Undertaking AML and sanctions searches on clients
- Ongoing monitoring of clients and risk assessments
- Assisting in setting up and amending information barriers
- Assisting with training to the team
- Undertaking research

To be considered for this Risk & Compliance Officer opportunity, you'll need to be/have the following:
- Have a minimum of 18 months experience in Legal Risk & Compliance
- Be educated to degree level, ideally legal
- Have knowledge/experience in AML
- Have a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
