The team
The Risk team’s mission is to protect the earnings, assets, and reputation of the firm, facilitate consistency of delivery, and reduce the cost of quality. The primary responsibility of the Risk Team is to provide effective and timely risk and quality-related counsel and guidance to the Deloitte Consulting teams that support client engagements. The Risk Team accomplishes its mission by helping identify, mitigate, and manage risk (delivery, regulatory, legal, and reputation) throughout the engagement life cycle.
The successful candidate will provide support to the Canadian Risk Managers throughout the contracting lifecycle for consulting and operate services, ranging from deploying structured contract management processes for compliance of contractual commitments and deliverables to active monitoring and tracking of contractual obligations.
Work you’ll do
As an Analyst, you should be able to consistently apply a base of knowledge to matters that arise, identify, and resolve exceptions to policies and professional standards in a timely manner. Your key responsibilities would include:
Review, create and monitor contract obligation trackers to validate that these are met in line with terms and conditions including obligations and deliverables.
Review contract documents such as SoWs and CRs and provide redrafts and suggested wording to ensure that the obligations and commitments of both parties are clear, risks are understood, and deliverables are achievable.
Articulate complex contractual details to a broader project team and stakeholders.
Summarize and communicate essential contractual requirements and obligations.
Manage process implementation activities, including identification of process improvement opportunities for contractual compliance practices.
Understand stakeholder requirements and develop recommended approaches.
Build relationships with program leadership, other stakeholders and manage client relationships.
Work and coordinate tasks with multiple stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Procurement, etc.
Participate in risk and contract management process transformation projects.
Qualifications and experience
Required:
of relevant business experience in contract or commercial-related functions.
Experience in reviewing and redlining commercial contracts.
Experience in contract management systems is an advantage.
Contract management experience in professional services agreements, complex information technology (IT) consulting, IT outsourcing, and IT professional services projects will be a vital asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, deadline-driven environment and work autonomously.
Experience in dealing with multicultural teams.
Advance level in Microsoft Products like Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; other languages will be an advantage.
Excellent team player, self-motivated and able to work autonomously, result-driven, and good project management skills.
Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to business needs as it evolves.
Location: Hyderabad
Work Timings: 2 p.m. – 11 p.m.
