We are recruiting for a Risk & Assurance Manager based in Hong Kong.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, Risk & Assurance, the rolesl strengthen how Sourcing manages risk, resilience and assurance. It embeds a consistent, proactive approach that protects colleagues, operations and reputation and ensures alignment with Group governance expectations.
The role provides a clear view of risk across Sourcing and oversees the effectiveness of our assurance and controls. By partnering with hub and functional leads, it equips leaders with the insight they need to make informed decisions. It also works closely with Group Legal, Compliance, Audit, Security and Resilience to maintain alignment with Group standards.
The successful candidate will own and embed the Sourcing risk and assurance framework, deliver the annual assurance plan and lead resilience and crisis management activities. They will oversee significant incident investigations and ensure learnings translate into stronger controls and improved ways of working. They will also lead annual fraud and anti‑bribery training and build risk awareness through practical tools and coaching. The role requires strong risk expertise, excellent influencing skills and the ability to uplift capability across hubs and functions to build a resilient, forward‑looking organisation.
Strategy

Set the Sourcing risk and assurance strategy and framework, aligned with Group risk and governance expectations in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Audit, Technology, Security and Resilience

Set the annual assurance plan focused on the most material risks

Provide a forward view of enterprise risks, including geopolitical, regulatory and market shifts, with clear mitigation approaches

Shape business resilience strategy, including continuity standards and crisis playbooks
-
Commission scenario exercises and turn lessons into policy and control improvements
Operations
-
Run the risk cycle and maintain the central risk register with consistent definitions and scoring
-
Coach risk owners to produce calibrated ratings and actionable mitigations

Close out audit findings and verify control effectiveness

Govern significant incident investigations, ensuring due process, remediation and ownership

Lead forums and reporting to leadership and Group partners with clear dashboards and actions

Deliver fraud and anti‑bribery training and practical guidance, and embed processes across hubs
You will need
Required Experience
-
Proven experience in risk, assurance or governance in a complex, multi‑country environment
-
Strong control design and testing capability, including hands‑on risk register ownership
-
Experience coordinating resilience or crisis‑management activitie
-
Ability to coach non‑specialists to articulate risks and mitigations clearly
-
Excellent stakeholder engagement with executive‑ready reporting
-
Experience managing cross‑functional, cross-cultural stakeholders and influencing at different levels, both internally and externally

Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to evaluate options, make sound decisions and identify opportunities for improvement

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace in a dynamic environment
Preferred Experience

Professional qualifications such as IRM, CIA, CISA or equivalent

Training in business continuity or crisis management

Experience in sourcing, manufacturing or retail operations

Understanding of anti‑bribery and corruption controls in global contexts

Experience partnering with audit, legal and compliance teams
