Established international bank looking to hire a leadership role that will manage a small team to perform compliance assurance across the APAC region for both the private banking and corporate/investment banking businesses.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:

Design and carry out the annual compliance assurance plan focusing on high-risk areas.

Perform risk-based compliance assurance activity to validate controls in place are effective and robust.

Communicate findings through compliance assurance reports and assist in closing gaps to ensure effective compliance risk management.
To be eligible for this role you will require:

10 years or more compliance assurance experience from the banking industry.

Candidates with a strong understanding of AML risks or AML Assurance background from private banking will be advantageous.

Strong stakeholders management skills.
-
Experience managing team(s) preferred but not a must.
