Head of Banking Partnerships

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Head of Banking Partnerships to lead and manage the company’s global banking relationships and financial institution partnerships. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic banking partnerships, ensuring stable payment and settlement infrastructure, and supporting the company’s global expansion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with banks and financial institutions, preferably within fintech, payments, or digital asset companies.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage relationships with global banking partners and financial institutions

Identify and onboard new banking partners to support business growth across different regions

Work closely with treasury, payments, and operations teams to ensure smooth payment flows and settlement processes

Lead bank onboarding processes including account opening, due diligence, and ongoing relationship management

Partner with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and banking requirements

Resolve banking related operational issues and proactively manage partner relationships

Provide strategic input on banking and payment infrastructure to support new market expansion
Requirements:

10+ years of experience in banking partnerships, payments, treasury, or financial institutions coverage

Strong network with global banks and financial institutions

Experience working in fintech, payments, exchanges, or financial services environments

Solid understanding of payment rails, settlement processes, and banking infrastructure

Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced and global environment
