This premier bank offers diverse products and services to its global network of clients. In support of its continued growth and strategic transformation, it is hiring an In-Business Head of AML Operations, Executive Director.
Responsibilities
This is an in-business role within Retail and Private Banking. You will lead a large dynamic Anti Money Laundering (AML) operations team. Playing a pivotal role in the AML uplift initiatives, you will drive operational excellence, proactive risk management, and elevate capability building including team competency and robust platform. You will design and execute effective AML, risk and controls across frontline, product, operations, and support units. You will spearhead the risk and control, AML Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment and AML Control Self-Assessment programs. You will partner with Line 1.5 and Line 2 to ensure that emerging trends and threats are communicated, and necessary controls are embedded in the business operations. You will leverage data analytics to achieve operational excellence and effective monitoring of end-to-end risk signals.
Qualifications
You possess at least 20 years of experience in banking. You must have proven experience in managing large scale operations. AML/CFT operations experience is preferred but it is not necessary. With a proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and highly complex regulatory environments, you possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience in leading transformational initiatives to uplift efficiency and effectiveness is critical.
