What you’ll be doing

In this role you'll be finding solutions to some of the toughest and most exciting questions we must answer for Deliveroo. You’ll lead a team of fraud analysts to improve fraud detection and prevention and help to accelerate our shift towards more precise and automated fraud decisioning.

Operational excellence: identify, prioritise and deliver step-change improvements to fraud detection, prevention and internal processes.
Manage a team of fraud analysts, ensuring they are set up to be a high performing team.
Analyse fraud trends and patterns to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Support with fraud investigations, escalations and incident management, producing high quality analysis and driving rapid resolution of emerging fraud issues.
Own the alerting and monitoring processes, which includes proactive monitoring and responding to potential fraud alerts.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the fraud operations team.

Strong written and oral communication skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for presenting data and information in clear, compelling ways to communicate concepts and desired outcomes.
Have experience working in a global, consumer business with geographically distributed teams
Nice-to-have

Experience in relevant domains (fraud, compliance, payments).
Data analytics skills e.g. SQL.
