The Due Diligence Specialist will be responsible for conducting AML KYC/D activities and supporting the Client and Distribution Due Diligence Team to ensure that local CSSF substance and regulatory requirements are met in Luxembourg.
You will join a team of 3 people and report to the Senior Manager. We pride ourselves on fostering an environment of teamwork and collaborative knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding of New Counterparties – Perform a full Due Diligence of our contracting Counterparties. Identify and Verify the Nature of Business, Beneficial Owners, Senior Management and the Distribution Network.
- Regular Screening – Review alerts on Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons and Adverse Media ensuring regulatory compliance
- Global Sourcing – Ensure a smooth operation with our India office to increase the efficiency of our Onboardings and Client Refreshes
- Refreshes – Ensure the Due Diligence remains up to date and identify and verify any situational changes identified during the refresh
Skill Requirements:
- Prior 2+ years’ experience conducting KYC (Know Your Customer) and due diligence checks for institutional and corporate clients
- Strong understanding of client onboarding workflows, documentation requirements, and risk assessment processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and reliably, with a structured approach to prioritizing tasks.
- Keen attention to detail
- Team oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate across different departments
