THE COMPANY:
We have been instructed by a well-established real estate name who are looking to hire a DMLRO for their London based team. This role involves oversight of customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting, and regulatory engagement, acting as a key point of escalation for financial crime risk matters.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the MLRO in fulfilling statutory obligations under AML/CTF regulations.

Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the National Crime Agency (NCA) when required.

Maintain accurate records of all AML/CTF activities and ensure timely reporting.

Support the development and implementation of the financial crime risk framework.

Oversee high-risk client reviews and escalation processes.

Monitor regulatory developments and advise on necessary policy updates.

Act as deputy in the absence of the MLRO, ensuring continuity of compliance operations.

Provide guidance to business units on AML/CTF requirements.

Deliver AML training across the organization.

Promote a strong compliance culture and awareness of financial crime risks.

Liaise law enforcement, and internal stakeholders on AML matters.

Support audits and regulatory inspections.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must currently hold a DMLRO position.

Strong knowledge of UK AML/CTF regulations.

Experience in financial crime compliance within real estate or banking.

Excellent analytical and investigative skills.

ICA Diploma in AML or CAMS certification preferred.

Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field.
