Role Overview
This role involves developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, managing regulatory relationships, and supporting new market expansion and product launches while mitigating compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to MAS regulations, Payment Services Act, AML/CFT guidelines, and other relevant laws.

Oversee compliance for cross-border transactions, including sanctions screening and reporting obligations.

Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures aligned with global standards.

Implement controls for new products and services.
-

Conduct compliance risk assessments and gap analyses.

Monitor emerging regulations and advise on impact to business.

Promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Act as primary point of contact for MAS and other regulators.

Manage audits, regulatory examinations, and respond to inquiries.

Supervise AML/KYC processes, suspicious transaction reporting, and sanctions screening.

Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
-
5-8 years of compliance experience in payments
-
Strong knowledge of MAS regulations, Payment Services Act, AML/CFT requirements.

Experience with cross-border payment compliance frameworks.
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
