Compliance Officer

We are working on a confidential search for a well-established, global shipping company.
They are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their Legal & Compliance team, a role that sits within a small, internationally connected function.
What you'll be doing:

Sanctions and counterparty screening (individuals, entities, vessels, cargo supply chains)

Reviewing and maintaining internal compliance policies and procedures

KYC analysis and management of the Counterparty Registration System

Delivering compliance training via the Learning Management System

Supporting internal and external audits

Monitoring KPIs and preparing compliance reports
What we're looking for:

Bachelor's Degree or relevant qualification

At least 1 year of experience in compliance, fraud risk, AML, or internal controls

Familiarity with sanctions and AML regulatory frameworks

Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail

Able to manage multiple priorities and stay composed under pressure
