🌟 The Role
As the Compliance Manager, you’ll build and own the regulatory backbone of the company.
You’ll lead the systems, processes, and safeguards that ensure we operate with integrity across every market we serve.
Your work will directly shape how we:
Stay aligned with Medicaid and healthcare regulations
Prepare for audits and reduce risk
Build scalable infrastructure for multi-state growth
🔎 What You’ll Do
Own Regulatory & Medicaid Compliance
Oversee compliance across all Medicaid waiver and long-term care programs in active states
Interpret state and federal regulatory changes and turn them into operational updates
Ensure adherence to documentation, billing, EVV, credentialing, and service delivery standards
Build standardized compliance frameworks that can scale across multiple states
Lead Audit Readiness & Risk Management
Prepare the organization for state, payer, and federal audits
Develop internal audit processes and recurring compliance review cadences
Identify compliance risks and implement corrective action plans
Create measurable compliance KPIs and reporting dashboards for leadership
Build Policies, Controls & Infrastructure
Develop and maintain comprehensive policy and procedure libraries
Standardize documentation retention, file organization, and audit-ready repositories
Design internal controls that reduce regulatory and billing risk
Create scalable compliance systems to support geographic expansion
Oversee Workforce Compliance
Ensure compliance across onboarding, I-9 documentation, background checks, exclusion screenings, wage and hour laws, worker classification, and training requirements
Track certifications and required trainings to ensure documentation stays current
Partner with HR, operations, and payroll teams to resolve compliance gaps quickly
🧠 What You Bring
5-7+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, Medicaid programs, home care, or related regulatory environments
Demonstrated experience leading compliance programs in multi-state settings
Experience managing audits and corrective action plans
Deep understanding of documentation standards and billing compliance requirements
High attention to detail and structured thinking
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
Experience building systems from the ground up
Bonus if you have experience in:
Consumer-directed services or home and community-based services (HCBS)
EVV systems and Medicaid documentation standards
State expansion and regulatory filings
High-growth or startup healthcare organizations
💼 Compensation & Benefits
$85,000–$120,000 salary, depending on experience
