We are offering internship opportunities for motivated students or recent graduates to join our Compliance team. This role offers hands-on experience in a regulated digital assets platform, allowing you to develop foundational skills across multiple compliance disciplines while supporting our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with a wide range of day-to-day compliance operations, including data collection, document preparation and basic reviews across various compliance areas.
• Support regulatory reporting, filings, and interactions (e.g., helping maintain compliance registers, compiling data for SFC submissions, preparing supporting documents, and assisting with responses to regulatory inquiries).
• Assist research and summarize laws and regulatory updates, SFC guidelines, industry best practices, and developments relevant to digital assets and virtual assets.
• Contribute to the review, updating, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and manuals under team guidance (including basic gap analysis and formatting).
• Support transaction and activity monitoring, including basic review of alerts, exception tracking, surveillance reports, or access/log checks.
• Participate in compliance projects and initiatives across the function, such as tool/system testing, data analysis for risk/compliance purposes, preparation of internal reports/presentations, or process improvement tasks.
• Provide general administrative and operational support, including organizing compliance records, scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and assisting with team communications or training materials.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Who We Are Looking For
• Current university student (preferably penultimate or final year) in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in compliance, financial regulation, fintech, digital assets/Web3, or financial crime prevention.
• Good analytical skills, high attention to detail, organisational ability, and eagerness to learn across multiple compliance domains.
• Basic understanding of compliance, regulatory, or AML concepts (e.g., from university courses, projects, or self-study) is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital assets, blockchain, web 3, cryptocurrencies, or SFC regulations is advantageous but not required.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
• Proactive, reliable, adaptable, and able to work both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively within a team.
• Available for a full-time or part-time internship (please indicate your availability, preferred start date, and duration in your application).
