Analyst - Compliance and Risk (RCVB055)

Role purpose
The role will be a part of the Compliance and Risk Team.
-
You will be working alongside the C&R Manager to ensure the integrity of the day-to-day operations of a wide range of Compliance processes being delivered from the service centre.
-
To support the automation process by effectively using the Excel function
-
Use MS excel knowledge towards improvisation of the process and C&R SSC activities
-
This is a generalist role where you would be expected to get involved with all areas of the compliance and risk function.
-
To assist in completing and establishing compliance and risk monitoring programme
-
To build good working relationships with the wider C&R team and partners.
-
To assist with C&R process improvements to ensure the performance of services.
-
Assist in the handling of tasks received from inception to resolution as and when required.
-
To contribute towards and carry out compliance and operational projects as required.
-
To deputise for the C&R Manager in his/her absence.

The candidate needs to demonstrate a banking and compliance knowledge in AML/KYC/On boarding related issues
-
Should be a professional, self-motivated, deadline-driven team player able to work in an ever-changing environment;

Should adhere to company policies and ensure to maintain confidentiality in handling customer data.

Timely escalation of issues and queries

Adhering to SLAs
-
Ability to learn and effectively use other software applications including numerous research/investigative tools that may be in other countries or languages

Support the allocation of team resource to meet business demand.

Play a participative part in Team Briefs.

Be proactive in the provision of feedback and the delivery of ideas to develop and improve solutions relating to C&R SSC Team
Experience And Personal Qualities
-
Graduation – Any Graduate-Specialization
-
2-3 years’ experience in Compliance & Risk
-
Strong MS Excel modelling knowledge and aptitude, including macros, and pivot tables.
-
Strong analytical / problem solving capability
-
Good communication and stakeholder management capabilities
-
The ability to manage across multiple time zones within a fast-paced and diverse cultural environment
-
Flexibility and responsive to changing situations; adaptable
-
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
-
Ability to deal with customers and employees at all levels within the organisation.
