AMl/KYC Controls Specialist

Your role
Are you a self-starter with a strong risk and controls awareness? Do you see opportunity when faced with challenging problem and willing to deep dive to identify solutions and deliver results? We’re looking for a motivated and detailed oriented individual to support the team.
In this role, you will:

Perform control testing covering onboarding and periodic KYC review processes.

Review KYC and account documents to validate accuracy & completeness of client data maintenance & screening and ensure control procedures are adhered to

Run reconciliation reports to identify and investigate exceptions.

Support in internal and external audit in process walkthrough and samples preparation.

Design and implement new control testings and reconciliation reports to address key risk areas and ensure compliance to bank policy and regulations.

Identify and support implementation of process improvements ideas and automation opportunities around complex controls and processes.

Be a direct liaison with Front Support Office, Operations team and other business partners, including Legal and Compliance, Business Risk Management, Project Teams etc.

Ensure adherence to regulations, guidelines, standards and UBS policies while maintaining a highly developed awareness of potential legislative and UBS policy breaches and proactively prevent their occurrence.

Engage in adhoc projects, cross-border initiatives and new regulatory initiatives.

Your expertise
You have:
-
A university degree, with at least 2 years of experience in financial industry.

Experience in wealth management onboarding and periodic KYC review process.

Strong risk and control mindset with a structured and logical approach to analysis and problem solving skills.
